Final PLP Survey- WNY
It has been an incredible journey. Will and I have learned a great deal from you. Please take a moment to help us evaluate our Powerful Learning Practice professional development work. We look forward to learning from what you will share. How would you describe your adoption of Web 2.0 tools (RSS, blogs, wikis, podcasts, bookmarking, etc.) into your personal, professional, or classroom experience (after having been exposed to many of these tools through PLP?)    What do you perceive as the greatest obstacle to furthering 21st Century teaching and learning in your school?    Which statement about the impact of 21st Century tools and strategies on students' critical thinking and problem solving is closest to your own?    How helpful was PLP in moving you along the professional developmental continuum in terms of understanding the current shifts and their impact on teaching and learning?    Thinking in terms of the stated outcomes for this year-long PD that are listed below, how well do you think PLP came to meeting the stated outcomes?

  • Pedagogy: An understanding of the shifting learning literacies that the 21st Century demands and how those literacies inform teacher practice.
  • Connections: The development of sustained professional learning networks for team members to begin experimenting and sharing with other team members and online colleagues from around the world.
  • Sustainability: The creation of long term plans to move the vision forward in participating districts at the end of the program.
