Please take a moment to help us evaluate our Powerful Learning Practice professional development work. We look forward to learning from what you will share. How would you describe your adoption/understanding of emerging technologies (RSS, blogs, wikis, podcasts, bookmarking, etc.) into your personal, professional, or classroom experience? I've done some thinking about it but haven't really developed anything yet. I've experimented with one or more Web 2.0 tools but haven't really developed a digital footprint yet. I've created one or more web-based products using Web 2.0 tools -- but I haven't yet integrated them into my daily work. I am well immersed in my use of Web 2.0 tools in the building of my Personal Learning Network. I am using Web 2.0 tools and products in my teaching – but I haven't yet let my students create their own web products. My students and I are using the Web artifacts we have created and social networks we have joined as a part of our regular classroom learning experience. Other What do you perceive as the greatest obstacle to furthering 21st Century teaching and learning in your school or organization? I don't think these methods will be any more effective than traditional strategies. I think they could make a difference, but I haven't used/or promoted the use of 21st Century tools and strategies with students enough to see the difference yet. I've seen some evidence that these strategies can increase students' critical thinking and problem-solving, but I need more experience to say for sure. I'm convinced by my own experience/observation that 21st Century tools and strategies offer innovative ways to build critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Introduction to 21st Century concepts, networking literacies and strategies and pedagogy has not had much impact on my professional practice. I have used some of the 21st Century tools and practices in my professional work, but my ideas about "best practice" are much the same as before. I am beginning to change the way I view "best practice" as a result of my experimentation with 21st Century concepts, tools and strategies. My participation in PLP has accelerated my growth as a 21st Century educator. If you were to describe your learning journey this year as part of your PLP cohort, how would you rate your experience? Limited! I didn't participate much. Uneventful! Not much of a journey at all. What a ride! It started out rocky but ended up ok. Powerful! I grew as a professional. Transformational! I shared, connected and collaborated. I expanded or created a digital footprint.
