When you register an account at CreateSurvey 2 Beta, you get access to all service features for 2 weeks, for free.
After the initial trial period expires, you can extend your subscription at a special price, or transfer your existing subscription to CreateSurvey 2.

To use the service, you only need a modern Web browser with JavaScript enabled; no plugins, no extra downloads.
Currently we support these browsers:

• Internet Explorer 6/7
• Mozilla Firefox 2/3
• Opera 9.x
• Safari 2/3

Browser requirements for surveys you create are much less restrictive:

• Internet Explorer 5/5.5 supported
• JavaScript is recommended but not required
• Any HTML browser with CSS support should be able to display the survey and allow responses to be submitted

• Q: Are there any special requirements for beta testers?
  A: No, anyone can participate. It is recommended, however, that you report back any bugs/errors you encounter, so we may improve the service.
• Q: I have a CreateSurvey account already; will it be upgraded to CreateSurvey 2 if I participate in beta testing?
  A: No. CreateSurvey 2 Beta runs on a separate server and does not share any accounts or data with the existing version of CreateSurvey.
• Q: How much does it cost?
  A: As a newly registered beta tester, you get 2 weeks of free subscription. For active bug reporters we will extend the free period. When free period ends, you can either puchase 1 extra month of subscription at a reduced price, or contact us for other options. Since this is a beta version, we will gladly provide discounts, free bonuses etc.
• Q: What does "beta" mean?
  A: "Beta Software" is a common term for pre-release versions made available for public testing. Beta software generally includes all features, but may also include known issues and bugs.
• Q: When does CreateSurvey 2 become the default engine to power your online service?
  A: Beta testing may take up to several months. After that, we will make CreateSurvey 2 the default choice for newly registered customers.

While beta testing cycle lasts, we have two limitations:

• A limit of 2000 responses per each survey you create
• A limit of 2000 recipients per each e-mail invitation you send out

Known problems:

• Reports may display responses to tablex (3d matrix) questions in a way similar to 2d matrices
• Moving many questions up/down in the survey editor may break the layout
• Advanced filtering by questions or response options in Custom Reports may produce inconsistent results
• Safari 2 may have some problems working with Tablex (3D Matrix) and Branching Logic editors
• Safari 2 may have problems editing question titles with the built-in Rich Text Editor
• Branching Logic editor UI may have visual glitches when working with large surveys
• Some survey skins may have visual glitches when used with rich HTML markup
• In the rich text editor (mostly used to edit question titles), pasting text from MS Word may result in broken markup; us the specially provided 'Paste from Word" button
